Dear Diary,
I think Curtis is starting to notice me. Yesterday was a good example... (music, blurry picture, fucos) outside of the band hall. Katrina S. and I were going to pick up Heather so we walked into an odd quietness. Heather was looking for piccolo music, some 8th graders were messing around with the electric guitar, and Brent and Curtis were trying to lock each other in the supply room. Katrina did a good job of getting Curtis to notice me.
The girls won so they'll go to state on Friday, but the guys lost. Kyle was there. Ahhh. Afterwards we went to Chili's! I sat with these crazy high schoolers! Augh! 12:06AM! Mornin! <3 J

Dear Diary,
Playoffs were great! I'll start at the beginning. Mom and Jay left first while I finished my homework. Later, Mom called & said that Curtis was there with the band! Augh! I freaked. I got to the gym & saw Curtis playing with the high school band. Later KYLE showed up! I nearly died! The two guys I like in seeing distance, oh, it was all, too much! Near the end of the game, that we were winning, the high schoolers shouted the names of the players they wanted in! Then they shouted for Jay, Mrs. Finesky & Coach Richardson! Kyle was rolling when they shouted Jay. It was a good game. Next week we play Saturday if we win we go to State!

Dear Diary,
Happy Valentine's Day! If you can call it that. Happy I mean. Mom got so much expensive stuff and I got dittily. Freebies from a hotel, aution stuff, and a box of suckers. Mom got candy, an animal, 2 bookmarks, a cd, 2 balloons, and a dozen roses! Jay got a b-ball signed by our team, box of suckers, freebies, and auction junk. I am grateful for what I got so maybe that's all that matters.

Dear Diary,
I had an AWESOME dream last night. (No, I didn't marry Kyle) I was at a Varsity girls B-Ball game. I was talking to Marion M. and Jenny T. got hit in the head. I went crazy! Marion and I had been sitting on the floor and a VERY cute guy from the other team sees me. He thinks something is wrong I say "my sister! She got hit!" I then notice that his hands are on my shoulders and he is ADORABLY CUTE! he says "She'll be ok." Or something like that and I say dreamily "Yeah, I guess so." Then BEEP BEEP BEEP...my magic moment is gone into a good day because I got out of a math TEST for my Dr. appointment. It was great! more Later!

Great News! no Kyle didn't ask me out on a date but our Varsity boys basketball team is in the playoffs! But- their tied with FWC. The Bailey's came over last night, well at least Mr. and Mrs. Bailey. Lindsey got a free ticket to a Mavericks game an Poor Poor Kyle was hitting the books.
I went to a Super Bowl party with Emily & we decided to eat lunch with other people. We shook on it. Mom thinks its a good idea.
I brought Samson to the party and the kids followed us, but Emily and I started to ignore them and then went away.
It was a lot of fun!

Dear Diary,
My SAT went well thank the Lord. I say Lindsay Long and Caitlin Hooper! Any way, that was Saturday, its Wednesday.
I found out the weirdest thing, Kyle Bailey is left-handed, too! Mom had gone to Singing Saints and I needed help with an assignment so I went to Mrs. Bailey. She noticed my left hand. I asked her, "Don't any of your kids write with ther left hand?!" She surprised me by saying Kyle did and how long it took to teach him to write like I do.
The things I learn these days...I'm writing a book called Forbidden Heart. A girl named Heather has to live with this other family because her parents die and she falls in love with the family's son Kevin. Right now, Heather is on a plane and is (phone just rang scared me!) thinking about what her future will be like with the White's.

Dear Diary,
Here are some more dreams!
1) Heather and I are going to Paris. When we get there Heather is a cartoon and is dancing with the French prince. They both look like stick people. Heather and I go back to Dallas. Katrina is going over to Heather's. I look through Heather's bag and see alot of Cinderella coloring books...
2) Katrina tells me to take one out. It's a Beauty & the Beast book. I become the story. Marion is Belle and I am the Beast! Soon a bunch of students start to come into the ballroom, including Curtis, and I find out the FBA Jazz Band is going to play!
3) Its my 14th Birthday party and Katrina Fowler is saying that I called Courtney a jerk. (There was alot more, basically, Courtney was being a big pain) We go outside and Courtney says I have a stain. I tell her it won't matter because I'm going to change. We go on then I said verbatim, "You're not going to ruin my party! In fact, get out! Just, get out!" By this time I had smeared mustard all over Courtney's hair. (We had been cooking hot dogs)

Dear Diary,
Today Mom & I went to get our hair cut. I got the bottom trimmed and decided to grow out my bangs. Then Mom & I went shopping for jeans. When we got to Lerner I got more than jeans, I got striped shirts to go over some plain shirts. I also got a pair of nice black slacks. When Mom & I were checking out I got some jewelry and some hair clips. It was a good day.

Dear Diary,
Today we didn't have Fine Arts so I went to study hall. Then we went to the pep rally for the varsity basketball and the wrestling team.
When the say was done I was having a good day! Except that we got assigned seating for the rest of the quarter.
When I came home I took a shower and changed my clothes. Mom & I went baby stuff shopping for Shonda & Mom's cousin.
We went to the basketball game and sat with Kyle, Lindsay, and Mrs. Bailey. (we won 85-53?)
After the game we went to El Fenix. Kyle went home so I sat with Lindsay. All in all, it was a perfect day, too bad Kyle didn't have dinner with us. Love, J

Dear Diary,
My stomach hurt this morning so I skipped church. Mom mad buiscits with Bob White syrup. I read Teen People in Mom and Dad's room then fell asleep aroud 10:47 and woke up at 11:47. (Kyle wasn't in my dream. Darn it.) I went shopping with Dad and Jay but I didn't buy anything. At choir we played some games, but Kassi, Danys, and I played Go Fish. Bethany didn't stay for the service but Danys did. We moved 4 times! I took some notes, oh yeah, my friend Lauren sat with us. I had fun.

Dear Diary,
Last night I have 1 dream that is still vivid in my memory.
1) I was at my wedding rehersal We practiced then went to this pool where you can get pictures mad. At that point I tell my bridesmaid I don't want to marry the groom but that I want to marry the best man, Kyle Bailey! When we get near the top, I smile at the groom and then when we're going to get the pictures, the photographer pushes me out of the way. We get back to this hotel thing and I see Katrina S. I tell her my problem & she goes. Later I take a shower and Poppa comes in. I tell him, he is surprised. Then when I come out I see a girl in my wedding gown. Kyle is in the groom's tux. All of a sudden, I'm wearing the gown and getting on Kyle's lap because he was only wearing the top* (he was wearing khaki-cargo pant, not tux pants)! Then we got pictures I woke up!
Anyway, I have a crush on Kyle. He's only 9 years older than me!
I went to the office with Dad because he had to move files. (no, Kyle wasn't there. I wish.) I folded tops and earned $7.25! 25 cents a box lid 29 lids. Then Christi and her kids came. Melissa (5) was good and Jacob (3) was ok. Bedtime now!

It's officially 1999! I stayed up all night we watched Sgt. Bilko and played canasta. Jay and I are going to a movie with Grandma at 11:30, I cleaned my room and played on the computer. My New Year's Resolution is to be the best possible person in every way. I'll look up my resolution from last year. Night!

Jay sure was surprised when he saw his friends after we came home from MJDesigns. There was food & we playes Dallasopoly. We played some music for a long time then talked. Now Mom took Jay, Ashley, Lisa, and John to Blockbuster. She sent me to bed. I'M NOT TIRED! Jay gets to stay during my whole party NO FAIR! At MJDesigns (sp check) I bought beads and some wire. I made 2 necklaces, and one anklet. I wish I could watch the movie. I'll ask. Maybe if I can prove I'm mature.

Today we cleaned our house from top 2 bottom! I cleaned out A LOT of junk. I put all my Beanie Baby Lab Stuff in the bottom of my dresser. My BSC (The Baby-sitters Club) books are at the bottom of my shelves. I cleared out a lot of my books and put them in the library. I have to get up early in the morning because Grammy and Poppa are coming.

Dear Diary,
Today was Christmas! I got:
A camera, a journal, a whole bunch of nail polish, three Adventures in Odessey audio sets, a Weebot from Sharper Image, 2 mini torches, a mini radio, and a lot of other cool stuff.
My Weebot doesn't work, so we're going to take it back.
I got $175 so I'm gonna buy stuff for my Beanie Baby lab. I am listening to Adventures in Odessey. Jack and Joann got married and Connie quit! Whit is upset.
